Spain Tourist Arrivals Hit Record For November

In November 2025, Spain welcomed 5.8 million international tourists, marking a 2.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024 and setting a new record for the month. The United Kingdom contributed the largest share of visitors, exceeding one million tourists, a growth of 4.7%. This was followed by France and Germany, which saw 695,770 (a decrease of 7.4%) and 667,931 (an increase of 2.7%) visitors, respectively. From January to November 2025, Spain nearly reached 91.5 million international tourists, another all-time high. Most tourists favored stays between four and seven nights, totaling nearly 2.7 million visitors, although this was a 1.3% decline from the previous year. Meanwhile, the number of day-trippers increased by 1.6%, yet those opting for more than 15-night stays declined by 10.4%. The Canary Islands emerged as the most favored destination in November, capturing 25.3% of the market and experiencing a 0.9% rise compared to November 2024. Following closely were Catalonia, with a 22% share and a 0.9% increase, and Andalusia, which secured 14.3% of tourist visits, marking a significant rise of 6.3%.
