Kazakhstan experienced a further reduction in its annual inflation rate for the third consecutive month, reaching 12.3% in December 2025—the lowest observed since August. This figure represents a slight decline from the 12.4% recorded in November. Inflation decelerated somewhat in the non-food products sector (11.1% compared to 11.2% in November) and in the services sector (12% down from 12.3%). However, there was a marginal increase in inflation for food products, rising to 13.5% from 13.4%. On a month-to-month basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) went up by 0.9% in December, following a 0.8% rise in the previous month.
