In December 2025, Colombia's Consumer Confidence Index experienced a notable increase, reaching 19.9%, up from 17.0% in November. This represents the highest level seen in eleven years. The Economic Conditions Index saw a rise of 5.0 percentage points, reaching 16.9%. This boost was significantly driven by enhanced evaluations of current household finances, which improved to 18.8% from 11.4%, alongside a stronger inclination to purchase durable goods, which climbed to 14.9% from 12.5%. Simultaneously, the Consumer Expectations Index experienced an increase of 1.5 points, reaching 21.9%. This change reflects a growing optimism for future household conditions at 46.0%, expectations regarding the national economy, which rose to 14.2% from 13.2%, and an overall improved economic outlook, despite a decline to 5.5% from 10.0%. When compared to December of the previous year, the overall consumer confidence has surged by an impressive 23.3 percentage points.
