Spain's trade deficit expanded to €5.7 billion in November 2025, an increase from €5.1 billion recorded in the same month the previous year. This change came as exports decreased by 1.5% year-over-year to €32.2 billion, while imports experienced a slight increase of 0.2%, amounting to €37.8 billion. The trade imbalance with the United States reduced by 19.3%, falling to €0.80 billion from €0.99 billion in November 2024, attributed to an 8% reduction in exports and a 12.6% drop in imports. Over the first eleven months of 2025, Spain's exports totaled €356.93 billion, marking a 0.6% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, imports surged by 4.5% to €408.41 billion, resulting in a 42.4% rise in the trade deficit, which reached €51.48 billion.
