This rebound was primarily supported by a 1.3% growth in the residential sector, which counterbalanced a 0.2% decline in the nonresidential segment. Public sector spending inched upward by 0.1%, following a 0.4% rise in September, driven by a 0.1% gain in the nonresidential area. On a year-over-year basis, overall construction spending decreased by 1%.
