Retail sales in North Macedonia experienced a 1.2% year-over-year increase in December 2025, a slight slowdown from the 2.3% rise in November. The sales of food, beverages, and tobacco saw an increase of 4.6%, and automotive fuel sales climbed by 1.5%. However, sales of non-food products, excluding fuel, declined by 3.0%, which dampened overall growth. In nominal terms, retail turnover saw a 4.8% increase in December.
