In the final quarter of 2025, Norway's mainland GDP, excluding the offshore petroleum sector, saw a quarter-on-quarter expansion of 0.4%, improving from 0.1% in the preceding quarter. This marks the fourth consecutive quarter of growth and represents the most rapid rate since Q1, driven by notable increases in gross fixed capital formation, which surged to 7.2% from 0.1% in Q3, along with household consumption rising to 1.4% from 1.1%, and government expenditure increasing to 0.4% from 0.1%. Concurrently, exports and imports both experienced growth at an equal rate of 3.6%. On a yearly basis, mainland GDP grew by 1.9% in the fourth quarter, following a 1.4% rise in the previous quarter.
