US Futures Steady After Market Rebound

US stock futures were steady on Tuesday after the major indices rallied in the previous session, as a sharp pullback in oil prices improved investor sentiment. On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.83%, the S&P 500 added 1.01%, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.22%. All 11 S&P 500 sectors ended higher, led by technology, consumer discretionary, and communication services.

Nvidia gained 1.7% after CEO Jensen Huang told the company’s annual GTC conference that he expects $1 trillion in cumulative orders for Nvidia’s Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems through 2027.

At the same time, WTI crude fell more than 5% as several tankers successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz, boosting hopes that the key shipping lane could soon fully reopen.

Investors are now focused on the Federal Reserve’s policy decision due Wednesday, as the central bank evaluates the economic implications of the Iran war. On the corporate front, earnings reports from Lululemon, Docusign, and Oklo are scheduled for Tuesday.
