Poland Corporate Wage Growth Below Estimates

In February 2026, average wages in Poland’s corporate sector rose by 6.1% year-on-year to PLN 9,135.69. This increase fell short of market expectations of 6.6% and matched the growth rate recorded in January. Wage gains were observed in manufacturing (6.5%), agriculture, forestry and mining (2.6%), and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (8.6%).

On a monthly basis, the average gross salary increased by 1.5%, rebounding from a 6.1% decline in January. The monthly rise was largely driven by higher additional payments, including bonuses, annual and long-service awards, as well as broad-based wage and salary increases. On a year-to-date basis, wages in the corporate sector grew by 5.9%.
