The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic rose to 110.4 in March 2026, up 0.6 points from 107.6 in February. This improvement was driven mainly by a further decline in the share of consumers expecting the economic situation to worsen over the next twelve months, as well as a slight decrease in those reporting that their current financial situation has deteriorated compared with a year earlier. Expectations for personal finances remained largely unchanged, with the proportion of households anticipating an improvement staying broadly stable. At the same time, fewer respondents expressed reluctance to make major purchases in the coming year, pointing to a modest strengthening in household spending intentions.
