FX.co ★ Slovenia Tourist Arrivals Rise 3.3% in February

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia rose by 3.3% year-on-year to 307.6 thousand in February 2026, following a 7.9% increase in January. The number of foreign visitors grew by 3.6% to 184.9 thousand, while domestic arrivals were up 2.7% to 122.6 thousand. The largest shares of foreign tourists came from Italy (14.5%), Serbia (31.2%), and Hungary (19.6%).

Overnight stays increased by 4.3% compared with a year earlier, reaching 829.1 thousand. The highest numbers of overnight stays were recorded in health (spa) resorts (up 2.0%), mountain resorts (up 7.3%), and the capital (up 11.0%).

In the first two months of 2026, total tourist arrivals increased by 5.6% year-on-year to 624.9 thousand.
