Producer prices in Belgium declined by 0.4% year-on-year in February 2026, following a 0.6% drop in January. This was the fifth consecutive monthly decrease, but the mildest since October, as domestic market prices rose more strongly (up 1% vs 0.9% in January) and price declines in non-domestic markets moderated (-3.6% vs -4%).
By sector, prices increased in manufacturing (0.3% vs -0.1% previously) and in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (4.4% vs 16.4%), while deflation eased in mining and quarrying (-0.7% vs -1.2%). In contrast, prices fell at a faster pace for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-8.8% vs -7.4%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.4% in February, after a stronger 1.5% increase in the previous month.
