Bosnia and Herzegovina’s current account deficit widened to BAM 445.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from BAM 411.9 million in the same period a year earlier. The deficit in goods and services increased to BAM 1,895.4 million from BAM 1,818.4 million in Q4 2024. Over the same period, the primary income deficit also deepened, rising to BAM 98.3 million from BAM 84.6 million. These deteriorations were partly offset by an improvement in the secondary income balance, where the surplus grew to BAM 1,548.1 million from BAM 1,491.1 million.
