Czech Industrial Output Growth Cools to 1.3% in February, Easing from January’s 2.8%

Czech industrial production growth slowed in February 2026, with output rising 1.3% year-over-year, down from a 2.8% annual increase recorded in January 2026. The latest data, updated on 09 April 2026, points to a moderation in the sector’s recovery momentum at the start of the year.

Both the current and previous readings are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing each month’s performance with the same month a year earlier. While production continues to expand compared to last year, the weaker February figure suggests that the pace of industrial growth in the Czech Republic has become more subdued following a stronger start to the year in January.
