Tourism revenues in Turkey rose by 4.2% year-on-year to USD 9.9 billion in the first quarter of 2026. Of this total, individual expenditures amounted to USD 8.5 billion, while package tour expenditures reached USD 1.2 billion. The largest share of spending was on food and beverages, accounting for 27% of total tourism income, followed by international transportation at 15.8%, accommodation at 13%, and package tours at 12.6%. Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, spending on accommodation increased by 21.2%, health-related expenditures grew by 18.4%, and food and beverage spending rose by 13.7%.
