Expectations for the national economy eased by 0.3 points to 51.4, while assessments of firms’ current situation edged down 0.1 points to 50.8. Perceptions of current national economic conditions were unchanged at 47.6. Despite this, companies stayed optimistic about the medium-term outlook, with the indicator for firms’ future economic situation at 55.8 points.
