Singapore Private Home Price Growth Cools as URA Property Index Eases to 0.50% in Q1 2026

Singapore’s private residential property market saw a moderation in price growth in the first quarter of 2026, with the URA Property Index rising 0.50% quarter-over-quarter. This marks a slowdown from the 0.90% quarter-on-quarter increase recorded in the second quarter of 2026, based on data updated on 24 July 2026.

On a quarter-over-quarter comparison basis, the “actual” figure reflects the change in the current quarter (Q1 2026) versus the previous quarter, while the “previous” figure captures the change in the prior period (Q2 2026) relative to its preceding quarter. The softer pace of price appreciation in Q1 2026 suggests a cooling in momentum compared with the stronger gains seen in the earlier reference period.
