French 3-Month BTF Auction Yield Edges Higher to 2.437%

The yield on France’s 3-month Bons du Trésor à taux fixe et intérêt précompté (BTF) inched up at the latest auction, with the indicator rising to 2.437% from 2.410%. The updated figure was recorded on 20 July 2026.

The modest increase in the short-term borrowing rate suggests slightly tighter conditions at the very front end of the French yield curve, as investors demanded a marginally higher return for holding three-month government paper. While the move is incremental, it will be watched by market participants as a gauge of immediate funding costs for the French Treasury and short-term rate expectations embedded in money markets.
