Lithuania Economy Grows 1.7% in Q2

Lithuania’s economy expanded by 1.7% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter of 2026, according to flash estimates, recovering from a revised 0.1% decline in the first quarter. The strongest positive contributions to quarterly growth came from manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail trade, as well as transportation and storage. On an annual basis, GDP rose by 4.1%, up from a revised 2.5% increase in the previous quarter, marking the fastest growth rate since the fourth quarter of 2024.
