Ghana Inflation Rate Slows to 4.6% in July

Ghana’s annual inflation rate eased to 4.6% in July 2026, down from a six-month high of 5.3% in June, marking the first monthly decline after three consecutive increases. Food inflation slowed to 3.1% from 3.9% the previous month, supported by a more stable exchange rate that helped contain imported price pressures. On a monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) inched up 0.1% in July, following a 0.2% gain in June.
