US Futures Advance on Strong Corporate Earnings

US stock futures rose on Wednesday as investors responded positively to strong corporate earnings, led by gains in artificial intelligence-related shares. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.7%, while S&P 500 futures added 0.2%.

In after-hours trading, Super Micro Computer jumped more than 15% after reporting strong preliminary results, boosting expectations for AI-related spending and lifting the broader sector. Hardware makers Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise also advanced, as did neocloud providers CoreWeave and Nebius Group.

SpaceX shares gained 8% after the company reported a 161% year-on-year surge in third-quarter revenue to $14.58 billion. Elon Musk said SpaceX and Tesla have each set up special committees to examine a potential merger.

By contrast, Netflix shares fell more than 5% after the streaming platform posted its slowest sales growth in three years and forecast a fourth straight quarter of decelerating revenue growth.
