European Stocks Poised to Open Higher

European equity markets were poised to open higher on Wednesday, as strong earnings from major US technology companies helped ease concerns over AI-related investments and improved global risk sentiment. AI stocks had come under heavy selling pressure in recent sessions amid mounting doubts about the sustainability of elevated capital spending in the sector.

At the same time, oil prices resumed their upward trajectory after a diplomat dismissed reports that a deal to resolve the US-Iran conflict was close at hand, keeping inflation risks firmly in view.

In Europe, investors will focus on UK September inflation data, alongside earnings releases from SAP, Iberdrola, and Enagas. In premarket trading, Euro Stoxx 50 futures were up 0.2%, while Stoxx 600 futures added 0.1%.
