Singapore Private Home Prices Accelerate in Q3 as URA Property Index Climbs to 1.40%

Singapore’s private residential market gained momentum in the third quarter, with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Property Index rising 1.40% quarter-over-quarter, up from a 0.50% increase in the previous quarter.

According to data updated on 23 October 2026, the latest reading for the third quarter of 2026 shows a sharper pace of price growth compared with the prior quarter, when the index had registered a 0.50% gain versus the quarter before it. The URA’s quarter-over-quarter comparison highlights that the current quarter’s acceleration marks a notable strengthening in private home price pressures within a relatively short period.

The shift from modest to more pronounced growth suggests increased buying interest or firmer pricing power in the private residential segment over the course of the year, with Q3 2026 consolidating an upward trend in Singapore’s property market.
