Thailand’s Export Growth Eases to 23.5% YoY in September, Down from August Peak

Thailand’s export growth cooled in September 2026, with overseas shipments rising 23.50% year-over-year, down from a stronger 25.30% gain recorded in August 2026.

The latest data, updated on 30 October 2026, show that while exports continued to expand robustly compared to the same month a year earlier, the pace of growth has softened slightly from August’s performance. Both figures are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing each month’s exports to the corresponding month in the previous year.

The moderation in September suggests that, although external demand remains solid, momentum in Thailand’s export sector may be stabilizing after a period of particularly strong growth in late summer 2026.
