Foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia rose 2.31% year-on-year to 1.43 million in September 2026, easing from a 6.27% increase in August. The slowdown was largely due to weaker travel demand following disruptions from recent natural disasters and volcanic activity in parts of the country.
