Turkey Producer Inflation Edges Up in October

Turkey’s annual producer inflation edged up to 27.41% in October 2026 from 27.38% in September. Cost increases were driven by mining and quarrying (35.12% vs 34.15% in September) and by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (9.07% vs 8.67%). In contrast, price growth slowed in manufacturing (29.04% vs 29.09%) and water supply (28.91% vs 29.7%).

By main industrial groupings, inflation accelerated for intermediate goods (28.66% vs 28.11%) and energy (33.42% vs 30.82%). Meanwhile, price increases softened for durable consumer goods (23.25% vs 26.97%), non-durable consumer goods (25.12% vs 25.97%) and capital goods (21.24% vs 21.55%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.65% in October, down from a 2.07% increase in September, marking the smallest month-on-month gain since July.
