FX.co ★ Spain Tourist Arrivals Hit Record For September

Spain welcomed 10.1 million international tourists in September 2026, a 4.3% increase on the same month a year earlier and a new record for September. The United Kingdom remained the leading source market, with more than 2.2 million visitors (+7.2%). Germany and France followed, although arrivals from both countries declined—by 4.7% and 1.5%, respectively—to just under 1.3 million and 1.1 million visitors. Over the first nine months of 2026, the number of tourists travelling to Spain rose by 5.2%, surpassing 80.5 million.
