FX.co ★ Indonesia Q3 Jobless Rate Down Slightly

Indonesia’s unemployment rate declined to 4.75% in the third quarter of 2026, down from 4.84% in the same period a year earlier. The number of unemployed persons fell by 1.07% year-on-year to 7.38 million. Over the same period, total employment increased by 0.99% to 147.99 million, with most of the gains recorded in agriculture, wholesale and retail trade, and manufacturing. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate edged down to 70.33%, compared with 70.59% a year earlier.
