(RTTNews) - Tuesday, important statistical reports due for the day include UK trade balance and Swiss consumer price inflation.
At 2.45am ET, the statistical office INSEE is set to issue details of French industrial and manufacturing output for the month of December. Industrial output is predicted to fall 1.8% in December from the prior month, following a 2.4% decline in November. Meanwhile, manufacturing output is forecast to fall 2.2%.
At 3.15am ET, the Swiss Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to issue the consumer price inflation data. Annual inflation is seen at 0.6% in January, down from 0.7% in December.
Afterwards, the Danish CPI data is due at 3.30am ET. In the meantime, Swedish industrial orders as well as production details are expected. After declining 2.2% in November, Swedish industrial output is predicted to fall 1.2% on a monthly basis in December.
Half an hour later, the Italian industrial production and Norwegian CPI data are due. Italian industrial production is expected to decline 11.3% annually in December compared to 9.7% decline in November. Meanwhile, Norwegian consumer price inflation is forecast to ease to 1.9% in January from 2.1% in December.
At 4.30am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to release UK's monthly external trade balance data. The visible trade deficit in December is forecast to narrow to GBP 8.1 billion from GBP 8.33 billion in November. Meanwhile, total trade deficit is predicted to decline to GBP 4.25 billion from GBP 4.47 billion in the prior month.
