Market Analysis & Technical Analysis: USD/JPY (Timeframe H4)

1. Initial Information & Trade Setup Details Instrument / Asset: USD/JPY (US Dollar vs Japanese Yen) Timeframe: H4 (4 Hours) Current Market Conditions: Based on the chart, the price movement shows a history of fairly dynamic fluctuations, where the price briefly experienced a sharp decline (drop) to the area around 156.20, then made a significant recovery (rebound), and is currently around the level 157.57 near the midline of the movement. 2. Breakdown of Technical Indicators Used Bollinger Bands & Moving Average (MA): The medium-term Moving Average line (orange line) is moving relatively flat around the middle area, reflecting market conditions that are in a consolidation or transition phase after previously experiencing sharp selling pressure. The Bollinger Bands briefly widened extremely during the sharp decline, and are now beginning to narrow again as price consolidates in the middle area. Volume Indicator: The volume histogram shows a surge of relatively high trading activity during the sharp downward price movement, while currently volume is starting to ease again. Stochastic Oscillator (5,3,3): Based on the Stochastic indicator at the bottom of the chart, the line values are at 51.85 and 40.09, which indicate a position in the neutral zone (neutral zone) and the lines are beginning to curve upward. This suggests potential momentum for a short-term recovery or price bounce. 3. Action Plan and Risk Management (Trading Plan) Rebound / Consolidation Scenario: Given the price position and the Stochastic indicator being in the neutral area after a corrective phase, a strategy to monitor is to look for confirmation of price movement around the Bollinger Bands boundaries to determine whether the price will continue strengthening or retest support levels. Risk Management: Always apply disciplined risk management by placing a Stop Loss (SL) outside the nearest volatility area boundaries to protect capital from the risk of false breakouts (false breakout).
